Smart Cities Moscow
Moscow is one of the largest megacities in the world, building its development strategy in accordance with the UN SDGs. Improving the standard of living and the availability of city services, increasing the efficiency of city management and the development of digital business infrastructure have become the drivers of the digital transformation of the city.
The consistent implementation of SmartCity technologies has led to the construction of a unique ICT infrastructure in Moscow and, as a result, qualitative shifts in urban management, a decrease in the environmental burden, an increase in the level of safety and an increase in economic and social activity. Understanding the importance of the global sustainable development agenda and the desire to develop a dialogue with the international expert community and a wide audience interested in the introduction of advanced digital technologies in various areas of urban life, formed the basis of the concept and program of the annual international forum Smart Cities Moscow.
Within the framework of the forum, working sessions will be held on the most relevant topics for the development of smart cities: responses to the challenges of COVID-19, 5G, big data, AI technologies, digital city services, smart energy, social inclusion and e-mobility. In 2021, the forum will be held online, and in the future it is planned to hold an annual full-scale international exhibition that can compete with such major industry events. The Forum is supported by The Government of Moscow, Department of Information Technologies.
